Privacy Policy
This page explains what happens to your data when you visit joinauracoach.io and when you pre-sign up for Aura Coach. The Aura Coach app has its own privacy policy, shown inside the app when you create an account.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the developer of Aura Coach. For anything about your data, write to hello@joinauracoach.io.
What we collect, and why
Pre-sign-up form. When you fill in the form we store your email address, the race you picked (70.3, Full or undecided), the type of phone you use (iPhone or Android), the date and time, and the consent text you saw. We use this to send you one email the day Aura Coach is available on your store, and to give your account the free first month instead of the standard trial when you sign up with the same email. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records the usual connection data (IP address, browser type, requested page) for security and to keep the site running. This is based on our legitimate interest in operating the site safely and is kept for a short time.
Fonts. Part of the typography on this site is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google when the page loads.
No cookies. This site does not set cookies and does not use advertising or tracking pixels.
Where your data lives
Pre-sign-ups are stored in our database at Supabase, the same provider that runs the Aura Coach app. The website is served by Cloudflare. Neither provider uses your data for its own purposes; they process it on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Until Aura Coach has launched and the free-month offer has been applied to your account, and in any case no longer than 12 months after the launch email, unless you have become an Aura Coach user, in which case the app's privacy policy applies. If you ask us to delete your pre-sign-up, we do it within 30 days.
Who we share it with
Nobody, apart from the providers above who store and serve it for us. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not send you anything other than the one launch email you agreed to.
Your rights
- See the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted.
- Withdraw your consent at any time; your pre-sign-up is then removed.
- Complain to your data protection authority if you think we got something wrong.
To use any of these, email hello@joinauracoach.io from the address you pre-signed up with.
Children
The site and the pre-sign-up are meant for people aged 16 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that affects what we do with your pre-sign-up will be announced in the launch email.
Questions, doubts, or just want to check what we have? One email is enough: hello@joinauracoach.io.
